That’s the real question today, and I’ve heard it could be both. As a result, I am staying home and working from there to avoid making all my coworkers as sick as I am. Aaron is coming home in 15 minutes – I’m not sure why he even went in since he feels worse than I do. I think he wanted to prove to them he’s not just asking for more time off. I, on the other hand, sound like I’m 90 years old and have been smoking for 80 of those years. It’s obvious over the phone I’m sick.
Sammie is enjoying spending the morning in bed with me so far. While she played with us a little bit last night, we had to coax her out of her kennel – she’s continued to rest/sulk (I say sulk because Aaron’s convinced she just misses her boyfriend). While that may be the case, I think she’s still just tired – she’s been snoring away!
The cats are also enjoying quality time with mom and have hardly left my side (or my stomach). I have to say, spending time with all of them makes being sick almost enjoyable! I’ve missed having this time with them after being gone so long.
Could ask for a better healthcare professional to keep you company while sick.
