The Mysterious Disappearance of the Krab Dip

Yesterday, Aaron and I made a quick dash to the grocery store. Since she’s been doing so well, and it would be a short trip, we left Sammie out with the cats. When we returned, the krab dip we had planned on tossing was almost gone, with no indication of who might have eaten it. While the cats seemed the likeliest candidates, they hadn’t touched the krab we had given them when it was fresh. So that made Sammie our newest suspect. However, the glass bowl was exactly where it had been! If she had gotten into the krab dip, we would have expected it to be across the counter or shattered on the floor.

Everyone spent the rest of the evening napping, so it definitely didn’t weigh on their consciences. To top it off, no one appeared sick or extraordinarily full. The mystery continues…

Perhaps all will be revealed at poop time. My guess is that the one (or more) with non-typical poop is the culprit! There’s clearly more to poop than meets the eye!

I agree with Colinandray that you will know who did it when it comes to potty time! The poop always gives it away, but I don’t think that the cats are innocent in this mystery! Great story! You need to setup a video on your next “short trip” to the store!

We have a feeling you’re right! While Sammie appeared to look a little guilty, we aren’t convinced it’s her. However, all poop thus far has been normal in appearance! Even the poop isn’t giving away their secrets!

While they all may get away with not owning up to it, walking away from an unfortunate and noticeable deposit (poop!) in an unacceptable location is not convincing. Somebody had to do it! )
