Everyone Wants to Be Close to Mom

Sorry for my long and unannounced absence. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately, and I figured if I wrote, I’d get off topic. Not to mention, WHAT do I want my blog to be/become? What am I hoping to get from it (or hoping that you all get from it)?

Hence, the break. Those last questions, I still haven’t figured out. But I know that we have a lot more adventures planned for us – stay tuned! – which means that we’ll have more learning experiences to share. In the meantime, check out the cuteness below:

Could Sammie be any sweeter? And check out Tubby’s (still) hairy toes behind us. Like in this picture, Sammie is mostly good when she comes up on the couch – she just lays with me and occasionally sniffs at the cats. That’s it! Craziness only ensues when we don’t go on our evening walks…

Ah yes, happiness is apparently lying on or at least beside a human!
I read somewhere that blogs evolve naturally and your readership will follow along – sure you might lose a few along the way, but you’ll gain new ones. Mine always feels uncollected, but it usually ends up being about writing & my animals, two of my passions, so I guess that’s where it’ll stay 🙂 I’ve loved reading how Sammie has settled in with you and the cats – we’ve been through very similar!

Mine has seemed to evolve from more writing to less. The Wordless Wednesday posts prompted that, I think, since they seem to be the most popular.

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed following along and can relate!

Thank you! Wordless Wed is a good idea – I don’t blog more than once a week as it seems to take too much time but apparently several (short) posts a week is good blogging technique. I’m just too lazy!
