We heard from her Monday night – the vet took the drain out that day, told her the dog was healing well, and said the staples can be removed next week. Woohoo!

We’re so relieved to hear that he’s doing well! Aaron said he’s even seen him playing out in their yard.

More good news: she’s not going to call animal control. She’s no longer asking we get rid of Sammie. All she asks is we put the fence in as soon as possible. We’ve priced materials from Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards, etc., but now figure it would be quickest and easiest if we could find someone to install it for us. Probably more expensive, but well worth it to just get it DONE.

Thank you all for the thoughts, well wishes, and advice through this rough time for us. Your words helped me create a plan – now it’s time to execute it!

She’s a good neighbor to stay in communication with you like that. I am very happy for the outcome for everyone. Sammy – behave yourself! Lexi
