Grass Lover

Over the weekend, we walked to a friend’s house for a barbecue and took Boomer with us. He was a hot dog by the time we arrived, so he sat in front of the fan and drank a lot of water. He laid close to me until it was time to eat – at that point, he moved the cool grass. And he rolled. And rolled. And rolled! I think it must have been more like mom and dad’s grass than the grass we have at our house.

I was sitting in the same position the entire time, so as you can tell, he basically made a 360 degree turn while he was scootin’ around!

I can’t get over his face!! So adorable. 🙂 I’m glad Boomer is having a good time! How is the stairs issue going?

Thanks!! He is still not a fan of the stairs. He refuses to come upstairs despite my coaxing. Last night, he actually came up a few steps, but he would pause, whine, then turn around and go back down. I did find a treat he likes, though! So maybe we will make progress yet!

Boomer, what wonderful grass you found to roll in. I would have been right there with you, buddy!

He definitely looks relaxed and happy-dogs and lawns are a funny combination to be sure!

He hasn’t rolled around in our yard like that once!
