Friday Funny: Emma in a t-shirt

Emma has an owie on her side that she won’t leave alone, so it kept scabbing and then reopening. We tried putting her in the cone of shame, but she quickly figured out how to get it off. At 3am, when I had to contort myself in weird ways to keep her owie covered while we slept, I had an epiphany: put her in one of my t-shirts!

It has worked REALLY well and she looks so gosh-darn adorable all at the same time! She gets a new t-shirt every day, and we’re on day 4 of the “treatment” now.

And as an even funnier photo, here’s a picture of her and her daddy:

Emma’s face truly shows that she likes wearing t-shirts! Keep em coming! Maybe she can wear one of those jammies with the feet in them to bed one night! LOL I buy kids clothes for our Bella all the time! Bella loves it when Mommy dresses her up! (she even has a little gray hoodie to wear from the kids section!

That’s too funny! Our problem is that the t-shirts fit her really well through her chest, but not through her belly.

You can fix that! Get your sewing machine out girl!

I’ve just been trying to find smaller and tighter t-shirts instead 😉 anything to avoid that sewing machine!

Emma obviously loves wearing clothes, and loves her Daddy. Try gathering the material and using a rubber band or even just tying it, like girls with flat tummies do, pulling the long tee up to their waist, gathering it at the side and knotting it. (not me!)

Ooohhh.. A rubber band would work nicely, I think!

Love the smile on Emma’s face. She sure seems to like her t-shirts! Great idea and cute to boot. Hope her side heals quickly. ~Margret

Thanks, Margret! It seems to be!! But I’d like to give it a few more days to be sure she doesn’t open it up again 🙂
