Friday Funny: Bath Time

I’ve decided to start something new on my blog called ‘Friday Funny’ where I tell you all about something funny that the cats or dog did during the week. Please feel free to share your own funny moments with me in the comments below!

On Monday night, Aaron and I were hanging out in the house, relaxing after an exhausting (but fun) weekend away. Frou-Frou, as usual, came up to join in the snuggles, but she STANK! I couldn’t tell what from, and never could find the source, but it was gross. I told Aaron about it (since he wouldn’t perform a courtesy sniff), and we decided right then and there that she needed a bath. I grabbed the pet shampoo while he grabbed her, and – well – the photos should tell you the rest:

I’m a big softie when it comes to my cats. When I first brought them home, they had yellow noses from nursing against their mom. I wanted to give them a bath, but they squirmed and hollered so badly it never happened. Just wet cloths here and there to spot clean them. Well, that doesn’t phase Aaron. He held her and soaped her down while I sat in the living room, listening to her (very loud) complaints. When he was done, we grabbed three towels and dried her off (yes, it really took three towels to get her to the point she wasn’t dripping any longer). She was so skinny and tiny! Despite her meows of distress, we both thought we heard a purr or two escape her while we were rubbing her down…
