Ha! I lie. We laid around and FINALLY recouped from our sickness. We’re still a little phlegmy, but much improved. Here’s a snapshot of our real weekend:
Check out that last photo again! That’s not some trick of the camera – they are really that close to each other. I don’t remember how it happened, whether Frou moved to that spot or Sammie did, but they settled in and lingered close together for several minutes. While Frou was plenty uncomfortable – she had to face Sammie the whole time – she was relaxed enough that she closed her eyes for a bit. I can’t believe how far they’ve come in the past four and a half months. Remember: the cats couldn’t even stand to be in the same room as Sammie when we first brought her home!

I have a surprise in store for you tomorrow – documentation (sorta) of a weekend activity involving the cats. I hope I haven’t said too much!!

I’m hoping for cat agility hahaha!! We did chicken agility with one of my hens, and the results were hilarious XD

That last photo is definitely an accomplishment, even if Frou slept with one eye open! LOL I know when we brought Bella into the house for the first time, Nikita was like “when is she leaving?” Now, they are best friends! Just let it happen naturally, they will be best friends soon!
