We had our first real snow of the winter on Saturday, and boy did it come down! The flakes were huge and it was perfect packing snow (but we didn’t have a snowball fight or make a snowman. I know, it was a missed opportunity).
Not only was it the first snow of the season, it was Emma’s first snow EVER! She LOVES the snow and would love to be out there playing in it all day long.
Sammie, on the other hand, only tolerates the snow. Her view on snow is much like mine – it’s the perfect excuse to stay inside where it’s warm and enjoy the beauty from afar.
Granted, I like a hot beverage and to be UNDER the blankets, but it’s close enough.
I’m more like Sammie as well!

That’s probably the real reason we didn’t have a snowball fight or make a snowman – I didn’t want to be out there very long!

Chattanooga TN is quite a drive. Probably over 10 hours, so we can’t just pop over. He, he.

Sunday, it was only 8 degrees (F) outside, so the snow stayed put. Yesterday and today, though, it’s beginning to melt away 😦

You know I’ve only seen snow one time in real life. I wasn’t a real fan. It was cold! Brrr and shivers. I think I’ll stay inside near the fire place, curled up in a blanket… with hot chocolate – snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

Bailey says that Emma needs to a Newfoundland puppy friend who will spend an entire day in the snow if possible.
